How to Play BLOCKOUT

You’re given a 5×5 grid of numbered tiles (1–5). Your job is to block out some tiles so that the count and sum targets around the grid match.

• Top: how many tiles must remain unblocked in each column.
• Left: how many tiles must remain unblocked in each row.
• Right: the sum of unblocked numbers in each row.
• Bottom: the sum of unblocked numbers in each column.

• Tap/Click a tile to block it (it darkens).
• Tap/Click again to un-block it.
• Reset clears your choices without changing the puzzle.
• New generates a brand new puzzle.

Each outside target starts dark gray. When its value is correct, it turns white. When all targets are white, you win.

Hidden countdown (10 minutes): 1000 points for completing the puzzle plus 10 points per second remaining. The timer pauses while this Rules screen is open.
